What you'll achieve

As an Outside Sales Workforce Product Specialist, you will proactively identify and solve customer business needs by providing subject matter expertise and creating solutions using Dell's products and services. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Manage and support accounts, including product account planning, sales forecasting, and facilitating organizational alignment in cross-functional virtual teams.
  2. Gain access to and manage relationships with senior decision makers and technical personnel.
  3. Engage with customers and sales personnel on moderate to high complex opportunities and collaborate across functions to deliver expected outcomes.
  4. Provide insight and subject matter expertise concerning the applicability of complex specific products and services, researching and applying industry and market knowledge to demonstrate the value of our solutions.
  5. Evangelize Dell's perspective on the Modern Workplace - transforming work and enabling innovation anywhere.
  6. Identify critical processes and operational challenges within the customer's environment and position relevant Dell workforce solutions and services.

What we are looking for

Essential Requirements

  • Expertise in Client Workforce Transformation Solution design, architecture, and customer conversations, with good knowledge of technical products, vendors, and technologies.
  • Ability to position Dell Technologies' portfolio against major competitors.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with customers, support personnel, and executives.
  • Outcome-oriented with the ability to build TCO value propositions and communicate Dell's unique value.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to identify growth opportunities.

Desirable Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 to 8 years of related field sales experience in a relationship selling role.
