Position Overview :

To call on targeted specialists in the specified therapeutic area to promote the use of the companys products.

Build rapport with all specialists, nursing staff and pharmacists.

Experience & Education :

  • Science degree / diploma.
  • Minimum 3-5 years proven successful track record in pharmaceutical industry will be required, in hospital / specialist setting, within the anaesthetics arena.
  • Strong understanding of anaesthetics within the clinical environment.
  • Established relationships with KOLs within the Western and Easton Cape territory.

Responsibilities :

  • Implementation of programs and strategies to relevant customer base
  • Facilitate and generate orders
  • Achieve all established sales objectives as well as measure performance against objectives Continuous targeting and updating of customer database
  • Plan and organize your territory to achieve optimal outcome
  • Be aware of market trends and competitor activity
  • Research, analyze, plan and recommend new business opportunities
  • Manage budgets and expenses
  • Build and maintain relationships at all levels : Key Accounts, Hospitals, Specialists, Pharmacists, Nursing staff
  • Arrange CME meetings, congresses etc.
