Responsibilities
- Manage the poker product lifecycle including ideation, specification, testing, launch, and performance optimization.
- Monitor poker performance metrics (GGR, player activity, margins, etc.) and implement strategies to optimize engagement and profitability.
- Analyze odds accuracy and relevance for poker-related offerings.
- Perform full-cycle testing of poker features, functionality, and odds.
- Drive marketing campaigns for poker across digital and retail channels.
- Serve as the key liaison between software developers, betting traders, and business teams for all poker-related matters.
- Investigate and address risk, fraud, and high-risk player behavior within the poker ecosystem.
- Lead BRD development for poker enhancements and integrations.
- Market awareness and strong Relationship Management abilities.
Platform & Product Innovation
- Maintain and enhance all current betting platforms (mobisite, website, USSD) by identifying shortfalls and introducing new features.
- Provide leadership and direction in the development of software projects, including scope definition, milestone tracking, and issue resolution.
- Assist software architects with application flows, UX/UI suggestions, and user journeys to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Conduct and supervise group testing of all poker and betting-related applications before go-live.
- Identify and eliminate the factors within the applications that may pose a risk to the business.
- Evaluate user behavior and brand perception to recommend improvements to poker and broader product features.
Strategic & Market Alignment
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure poker product approval across all regulatory provinces. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new innovations and opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Engage with internal departments to identify work process inefficiencies and support automation or development improvements.
- Handle client queries related to poker products and ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications
- Matric
- Degree/Diploma
- Valid Driver’s License and own Vehicle
- 3 Years’ experience in a product specialist role or management role within the gaming industry
- Reporting experience
- Sports Betting knowledge
