Product Specialist - Inpatient

ZAF-Johannesburg

R esponsibilities:

  • Grow stoma and wound care market share in your territory through achieving the desired call rate (usually 6 – 10 per day) for Stomal Therapists (ET’s), Private Nurse Practitioners and Hospitals (State & Private) in a defined territory (Gauteng East, Vaal and Mpumalanga).
  • Plan and implement territory strategies and activities within agreed company wound and stoma care strategies, budgets and timelines.
  • Present at customer and company meetings, forums and other areas as required to drive wound and stoma care sales.
  • Gather competitive and market trend information, feeding back to your line manager on a regular basis.
  • Utilise CRM fully to optimally manage your territory, completing activities as required by the company systems and requirements.
  • Maintain product knowledge through attending relevant training (self-development and CPD).
  • Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally to facilitate the development of profitable business and business development.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with private and state hospital buying patterns, knowledge of competitor product lines and latest medical issues and trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience in the medical field
  • Training and presentation skills
  • Nursing background desirable
