Job description

Purpose of Role : As a product specialist, you will interact with internal and external customers, as well as suppliers, on a daily basis. You will leverage your technical expertise and commercial acumen to support the ESCO sales team and our customers, establishing ourselves as Trusted Technical Advisors. Your on-site presence at fabricators, managing capital projects through manufacturing and commissioning, provides a comprehensive engineering experience from sketch to site.

Key Responsibilities :

• Technical support for the sales team, including product selection, implementation, troubleshooting, and customer presentations to support market share growth.
• Fabrication project management, including quoting, process management, supplier management (selection, lead time, quality, sign-off), logistics, and commissioning.
• Product training and the implementation of new products.
• Supporting fabrication project warranties.
• Acting as liaison between international design engineering teams and local sales teams.
• Demonstrating a commitment to safety and developing a world-class safety culture.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical trade with relevant experience.
• Effective communication skills across various personalities and skill levels.
• Ability to manage suppliers and customers effectively, especially in challenging situations.
• Attention to detail.
