About The Role

As a Marketer – Product Specialist II, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, high achieving sales professionals and you’ll drive WesBank Asset Based Finance full product offering to new customers in the KZN region to provide client support from a product perspective.

Successful candidate will be based in Acacia House, Umhlanga (Office based – 5 days).

Responsibilities

• Manage costs / expenses within approved budget to achieve cost efficiencies
• Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions
• Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with stakeholders, including end-users, SMEs, project managers, and senior staff
• Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices, and provide proactive advice and solutions
• Translate strategies into actionable goals and execute relevant projects / initiatives aligned to strategic objectives
• Implement and maintain sound business processes to minimize risk and deliver quality requirements
• Initiate and manage product research, data mining, and analysis for sustainability and growth
• Explore markets for new business products and trademarks
• Facilitate the conversion of ideas into new or improved products, processes, and services
• Manage own development to increase competencies

Candidate Profile

• BCom minimum qualification (Degree advantageous)
• 3+ years’ experience in banking (commercial)
• Services/Banking industry experience
• Knowledge of asset-based finance
• Proven sales performance
• Motivated for sales and energetic with good time management
