Job summary

Manpower Group seeks a seasoned Product Owner to lead agile teams across ecommerce, retail, and logistics domains in South Africa's Western Cape. You will translate business strategy into consumer products, mentor junior product owners, and drive alignment with data, UI, and backend systems.

Responsibilities cover backlog prioritization, solution design workshops, PI planning readiness, and omnichannel customer engagement to improve acquisition, retention and conversion.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Marketing, or related field (essential).
• Certified Product Owner / SAFe Product Owner (essential).
• 6+ years’ experience in a Lead or Senior Product Owner role within agile teams.
• Proven success launching complex product features and translating business strategy into consumer products.
• Strong commercial experience in digital-led business development environments.
• Ecommerce, retail, and customer loyalty experience (essential).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (POPIA, Electronic Information Act, etc.).
• Exposure to African digital markets (advantageous).
• Fulfilment-specific experience in supply chain, logistics, and ecommerce operations.
