Job Description: Agile Product Owner for BSS Stack at Samaha Consulting

We are seeking an experienced Agile Product Owner with acumen in driving product backlog for the Telecommunications Wholesale space, primarily focused on Fixed Connectivity. The resource will report to the Products, Business, and Technology teams.

Scope of Services

1. Develop a solid knowledge of existing systems and business processes.
2. Work with Product Managers and Business Owners to understand business drivers and strategy.
3. Conduct requirements analysis, needs assessments, and cost-benefit analysis.
4. Decompose complex feature sets into priority stories for delivery.
5. Document requirements and user stories.
6. Collaborate with UI/UX and Development teams to develop, validate, and refine concepts with end-users.
7. Ensure requirements are clear, prioritized, and testable.
8. Coordinate with marketing, sales, and service teams on product positioning, demo design, training, and collateral.
9. Work with Product Management and Delivery Managers to break down features into a product backlog.
10. Make prioritization decisions and guide teams on work to pull next.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a product backlog reflecting value and prioritization.
• Prioritize enhancements and releases with business and engineering leadership.
• Translate annual roadmaps into requirements and sprints.
• Decide on product engineering focus areas.
• Communicate product strategy to engineering and UX teams.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, marketing, and analytics teams to define, build, and launch features.
• Provide QA reviews of design documents, test plans, and reports, tracking acceptance.
• Manage enhancement requests to identify high-value work.
• Convey goals and requirements for enhancements and new development.
• Represent the business perspective to the team.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years of experience in product management or related roles.
