Job description

The role of the Product Owner is to own and manage the entire lifecycle of specific tech products, ensuring the creation of valuable, sustainable, and reusable solutions that meet the needs and expectations of customers and/or stakeholders. This role involves collaborating closely with Business and Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements for product capabilities that serve customers and align with business objectives.

Position Overview:

The Product Owner is responsible for:

  1. Product Vision: Working with stakeholders to create and communicate the product vision, setting clear goals aligned with business objectives, and maintaining an updated product roadmap.
  2. Requirements Gathering: Leading workshops, documenting requirements, and identifying resources needed for product delivery.
  3. Product Backlog Management: Maintaining and prioritizing the backlog to maximize business value, ensuring transparency and stakeholder alignment.
  4. Prioritization: Balancing scope, budget, and time, communicating trade-offs effectively.
  5. Participation in Scrum Events: Engaging in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement, and collaborating with developers to meet requirements.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Acting as the primary communication link, obtaining buy-in, and maintaining customer journey maps.
  7. Feedback and Iteration: Inspecting product progress, gathering feedback, and adapting the backlog accordingly.
