Preferred WHASA or recognized wound management certificate
2+ years experience in a clinical setting working with patients and/or end users
Previous medical industry experience an asset
Domestic travel required - Western Cape & Eastern Cape
Valid driver's License
Own Vehicle
Effective written and presentation skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret clinical publications/scripts
Proven success with organization and time management skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to tailor training and education to serve many audiences
High attention to clinical outcomes and follow-through
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to support internal and external customers as well as end users
Must be self-driven with the ability to work independently

Maintain professional credentials and education to maintain status as a clinical expert through board certification as a nurse
Support in-hospital wound care in conjunction with employed hospital staff
Set up new wound care protocols for follow-up visits for end users
Deliver education programs to a diverse group of internal and external customers and end users to drive better wound outcomes and improve care
Report back to senior leadership key clinical learnings and opportunities
The Wound Care educator provides clinical and operational support in the delivery of patient care in a hospital setting or clinical environment
Responsible for training physicians/clinicians/nurses on procedures, protocols, and product use
Assist with front office operations including, but not limited to, billing, invoicing, scheduling, tracking of procedures, reporting, and funder approvals
