Job description

Product Manager - Site Automation

The Product Manager for Site Automation will be a specialist responsible for defining and implementing strategies to fully automate our forecourts and shops businesses. The role includes identifying suitable partners for hardware, software, and support based on business requirements, and deploying solutions across CO and DO sites. This position is key to supporting the growth of our Retail business, with automation serving as a critical foundation for data, insights, operational efficiencies, and CVP deployments.

This role is part of a broader initiative to enhance the Retail offer, ensuring optimal customer experience across payments and loyalty. It requires close collaboration with local OUs, technology partners, and internal stakeholders, mainly within the IT organization responsible for project management, connectivity, and support.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Leadership in site automation selection and implementation globally.
  • Deep understanding of POS systems, terminals, BOS, HOS, forecourt controllers, payment networks, and loyalty integrations.
  • Experience working across multiple countries, especially in Africa or similar markets.
  • Vendor management, procurement, and SLA negotiation skills.
  • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in change management and staff training for tech rollouts in retail or fuel stations.
  • Willingness to travel for deployment and support.
  • French language skills are advantageous.
  • Aligning data with the central data strategy, data lake, and Power BI reporting.
