Job description

An African, luxury design brand is looking for an experienced Product Manager for their prestigious homeware and fashion categories.

The scope of the Product Manager includes :

  • Product Strategy - review and update new product launch plans based on data and market analysis
  • Market Research - visit and research new luxury product trends and boutiques
  • Product Sourcing and Supplier Sourcing - using expert knowledge and network source suppliers for luxury fabrics etc.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration (Design, Marketing, Finance)

Experience :

  • Market Insight & Trend Analysis – Ability to stay ahead of trends and understand market demands relevant to luxury homeware and fashion.
  • Supplier Relationship Management – Skilled in identifying and fostering supplier relationships that ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Product Lifecycle Management – Proficient in overseeing a product's journey from concept through launch, focusing on timeline, quality, and cost.
  • Strategic Thinking & Vision – Can identify opportunities that align with brand values and contribute to long-term growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Works well with design, marketing, and operations teams to bring products from concept to completion.

This role will suit a Product Manager who has seasoned experience in the luxury market. Someone who has a network of trusted suppliers and who has the vision to grow the home and fashion channel. The role will require travel and can be based in JHB, KZN or Cape Town.
