SUMMARY :

A leading renewables distributor company that offers the largest portfolio of solar panels and energy storage systems, based in Johannesburg, is looking for a Product Manager – Solar Finance. The individual will be responsible for leading the growth of the company's finance offerings, with an initial focus on the commercial and agricultural sectors.

POSITION INFO : Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Renewable Energy, or equivalent practical experience.

Desired experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in product development, sales, or business development in finance, renewable energy, agri-tech, or commercial energy sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in both product strategy and direct B2B sales to commercial clients or rural / agricultural end-users.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy finance trends and their application across different customer segments.
  • Experience working with or selling into SMEs and larger commercial operations.
  • Familiarity with agriculture and irrigation systems, especially in Southern African markets.
  • Existing relationships with organizations like Grain SA, Southern Africa Agri Initiative (SAAI), or commercial solar integrators.
