Product Manager

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MBA or degree in Business Administration
2. A certificate in software development is mandatory/and added advantage
3. 3-5 years as a Product Manager and has worked on a product launch from ideation to scaling, with cross functional team leadership
4. Extensive Marketing Researching skills and Competitive Analysis Skills
5. Proficient with Jira, Asana, Mixpanel and Figma

Key Responsibilities:

1. Setting a clear direction for the product and ensuring alignment with company goals.
2. Balancing the customer needs with business objectives by gathering, managing, and prioritizing requirements.
3. Acts as product leader within the company.
4. Provides technical product knowledge or specific domain expertise.
5. Working with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to deliver a product that satisfies customer and business needs.
6. Able to analyse and identify competitors in the market, also understands the customer drive/need to purchase the product.
7. Understanding the product from both a technical and market perspective to make informed decisions.
8. A solid grasp of competitive landscape and customer behaviour to drive product positioning and improvements.
9. Acting as a thought leader and advocate for the product across the company.

Skills and Competencies:

1. Subject matter expertise in a particular product or market. This should include specific industry or technical knowledge.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to create compelling presentations, documents, and reports.
3. Strong understanding of business strategy, profit and loss management, financial forecasting, and ROI analysis.
4. Be able to inspire, motivate, and influence teams from engineering to marketing without direct authority.
