Key Purpose

The key purpose of this role is to develop and implement new liquids, processes, and technologies to deliver consumer innovation projects.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Lead commercial product & process development projects and provide technical expertise on liquid ingredients, processes, and equipment.
2. Lead existing product renovation initiatives in order to improve consumer offering.
3. Support strategic projects focusing on improving our environmental impact, food safety, ABInBev image, or other non-commercial projects.
4. Ensure adherence to ABInBev Innovation Pillar.
5. Develop and execute innovation plan for product projects.
6. Manage quality plan and adherence for all new/modified liquid processes and formulations.
7. Develop liquid solutions that meet all critical aspects of the product brief (Quality/cost/reliability).
8. Work across departments and with multiple suppliers to design the process for commercial production.
9. Implement new liquid production and processes into supply regions with minimal effect on standard operation.
10. Develop and manage liquid development OPEX budget.
11. Support capex team during design implementation and commissioning phases.
12. Ensure compliance of all new liquids to required legislation.
13. Support legal, corporate affairs, and excise teams.

Minimum Requirements

1. Degree in Brewing Science, Chemical Engineering, or any other related field.
2. Experience of alternative product development, innovation process, and small-scale brewing is advantageous.
3. Good exposure to and knowledge of raw materials, process aids, and external equipment and process suppliers.
4. Basic understanding of consumer sensory science.
5. Efficient networker between departments, zones, and global partners.
6. 5 years brewing experience in a commercial brewery.
