Job summary

PEP is offering a 12-month Product Development Graduate Internship for graduates interested in FMCG product development. The intern will support the entire lifecycle of private-label consumer goods, gaining exposure to product conceptualization, formulation, packaging, and product launch processes while working closely with the NPD Manager.

Located in Northern Suburbs, Cape Town, the role requires a degree in a relevant field and offers invaluable hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Marketing, Business Management or Graphic Design.
• South African citizen.
• Aged 18–32 years.
• Computer literacy (MS Office and Google Suite).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the New Product Development (NPD) Manager.
• Assist with product research and market trend analysis.
• Contribute to product conceptualization and development activities.
• Support packaging and branding initiatives.
• Assist with product launch preparations.
• Collaborate with internal teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Perform administrative and project-related duties as assigned.
• Help bridge market trends and consumer needs with product development.
