Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment is seeking a proactive professional to support and maintain allocated Retail Chain Accounts and the account executive, coordinating product development details with the China office and handling pricing communications.

You will lead product development projects, optimise costs and quality with suppliers, communicate status to stakeholders, evaluate new materials, manage the engineering change process, and oversee testing and documentation in line with ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain allocated Retail Chain Accounts and allocated account executive
• Obtain all relevant product development details, process development datasheet, and pass relevant information to China office
• Price confirmation and relevant communications related thereof
• Manage sampling process up until final sealed sample (Fit sample, Pre-Production Sample PPS, Bulk Pricing Sample BPS)
• Process Order Development Reports and liaise with Sales Team to ensure all information provided to place official order
• File management of all developments and orders
• Detailed archiving and tracking of paperwork, including management of samples
• Lead product development projects from start to finish for new and existing products
• Optimise product cost and improve the product quality both internally and in conjunction with external suppliers
• Communicate project status and technical updates to stakeholders and management
• Perform evaluations of new materials and suppliers
• Management of the Engineering Change Process
• Lead projects with multidisciplinary teams
• Conduct FMEA studies and address issues raised
• Develop test methods and perform product testing for approval
• Perform and approve initial sample inspection reports (ISIR)
• Oversee the thermodynamic test laboratory
• Interpret thermodynamics test results and provide solutions for improvement
• Provide support to production with product/process/quality/equipment related issues
• Keep abreast of regulatory specifications and ensure product compliance
• Perform and support the Letter of Authority application process
• Familiarity with the following standards is an advantage: ISO 9001, ISO 17025
• Any other product development and design
