Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is recruiting for a Senior MIS/Data Warehouse specialist in Stellenbosch. The role focuses on data warehousing, data transformation, and systems analysis to support business intelligence initiatives.

You will work with relational data warehouses (SQL Server, Oracle) and ETL/orchestration tools, ensure testing quality, and contribute to architecture discussions. A relevant IT qualification is essential, with 6+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of MIS/data warehousing experience with a relevant 3-year IT qualification.
• Experience with relational data warehouses (SQL Server, Oracle) and ETL/orchestration tools.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and QA of others.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of new applications/systems to meet business requirements.
• Analyze business or system requirements and data to enhance understanding of the product line environment.
• Participate with the Architect during solution design documentation for new and existing products and systems.

• At least 6 years of proven experience within management information systems (MIS) | data warehousing | data transformation information systems/systems analysis together with a relevant 3-year tertiary qualification

OR

• At least 6-8 years of proven experience in management information systems/system analysis
• A relational data warehouse e.g. SQL server, Oracle, etc., and tools that enable ETL and orchestration.
• Testing methodologies
• Quality assuring work of others
