Purpose of role

Joining an existing Marketing team, the purpose of the role will be to increase the digital content output on their e-commerce websites, primarily using Magento as the content management system and create high-quality content for a range of new products, whilst ensuring that existing product ranges remains up to date.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Plan, research, write and review high-quality, SEO-friendly product content across digital properties to ensure users are presented with accurate, informative and engaging material.
2. Upload and style the product page content onto web platforms, featuring appropriate images, videos, tables, and more.
3. Create clear and original copy for other uses when required, including service descriptions, blog posts, trade articles, reports, and more.
4. Work to ensure all projects are completed on time.

Skills/Experience

1. Good communication skills, with a focus on high-quality written content.
2. A high level of accuracy, with strong editing and proofreading skills.
3. Capable of creating content around technical subjects.
4. Familiarity with CMS systems, Magento preferably.
5. Copywriting experience advantageous.
6. Comfortable working as part of a team, offering input and ideas.
7. Previous experience of commerce websites advantageous.
8. Familiarity with SEO practices.
