Job Title : Product Consultant (East London)

Description

Job Summary :

To create and increase brand awareness through maintaining pricing, shelf health, promotions, training of in-store sales consultants, and building strong customer and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables :

  • Ensure product availability
  • Manage damaged stock process
  • Check accurate pricing, promotional pricing, and competitor pricing
  • Manage demo software on all live devices effectively
  • Train store staff
  • Engage with shoppers
  • Support store sales staff to drive sales against competitors
  • Implement and maintain POP material as per client brief
  • Identify promotion needs to increase sales and negotiate with store managers
  • Increase product share on the floor, shelves, and in the store
  • Negotiate prime store positions
  • Manage slow-moving stock and allocate space for fast-moving stock

Promotion Implementation :

  • Implement promotions according to head office and client requirements
  • Maintain stock levels and POP materials

Administrative Responsibilities :

  • Complete reports accurately and timely
  • Manage assets and equipment
  • Use handheld devices/system for reporting and feedback
  • Communicate execution details and feedback to relevant parties

Customer Service :

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and effective self-management

Requirements :

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Telecommunications and Consumer Electronics
