PRODUCT CONSULTANT
Job Summary:
To create and increase brand awareness through maintaining pricing, shelf health, promotions, training of in-store sales consultants, and building strong customer and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
- Ensure product availability.
- Check for and manage damaged stock process.
- Ensure accurate pricing, including promotional and competitor pricing.
- Manage demo software on all live devices effectively.
- Train store staff.
- Engage with shoppers.
- Assist and support store sales staff to drive sales versus competitors.
- Implement and maintain POP material as per client brief.
- Identify promotional needs to increase sales and negotiate with store managers.
- Increase product share in terms of floor and shelf.
- Negotiate for prime store positions.
- Drive slow-moving stock and allocate space to fast-moving stock.
- Implement promotions according to head office and client requirements.
- Maintain stock levels and purchase orders (POs).
- Ensure effective administration and timely, accurate reporting.
- Manage assets and equipment.
- Utilize handheld devices/system for reports, feedback, and returns process.
- Communicate execution details and exceptions to relevant parties and gather feedback.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Practice effective self-management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 2 years' experience in Telecommunications and Consumer Electronics
- Driver's license and reliable vehicle (preferable)
