A leading company is looking for an experienced IT Procurement Team Leader to manage procurement activities for products and services in a fixed-term contract role. This position requires over five years of expertise in IT procurement, along with strong team leadership skills. The ideal candidate will handle invoice processing, maintain sourcing documentation, and support technology managers in their procurement requests.
Our client seeks an IT Procurement Team Leader with solid experience in IT procurement of products (hardware, software, security) and services.
Must have team leader experience and international IT procurement experience.
Salary : Market-Related – depends on experience.
Position Type : 5-month Fixed Term Contract.
Requirements Profile : Grade 12 with a degree in or studying towards a procurement-related qualification.
2+ years experience as a Supervisor.
2+ years' experience with invoice processing and budget administration.
5+ years procurement experience in IT products and services.
Experience with IT commodity procurement at the operational level.
System Skills : MS Office & MS Visio.
Key Duties : Maintaining entries associated with all purchases across various budgeting spreadsheets.
Processing department invoice entries using electronic payments to ensure timely payments.
Liaising with the department to resolve invoice queries.
Assisting with requests related to spending approval and procurement of goods and services.
Acting as the primary contact for sourcing quotations for goods and services.
Placing orders with suppliers as required.
Maintaining documentation and processes for mobile devices and IT assets.
Supporting global Technology Managers with procurement requests.
Keeping the Contracts Database updated and assisting with reporting on expiring contracts.
