Placements24 is seeking a diligent Procurement Officer to manage purchasing activities at our Rustenburg location. The role focuses on supplier engagement, tender processes, and maintaining inventory to support operations on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Procurement Officer or similar purchasing role.
• Sound knowledge of procurement principles, contract management, and supply chain operations.
• Experience with procurement software or ERP systems is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for supplier and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from identifying needs to final delivery and payment.
• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and negotiate prices and terms for goods and services.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies and policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing requirements and provide support.
