The job incumbent will be responsible for effectively sourcing the correct commodities and services by ensuring quality, safety, and commercial optimization.

In this position, the job incumbent will be part of the Procurement team that will be responsible for sourcing goods and services required for the operations of MMC at the best commercial terms.

MMC’s Procurement team offers a very dynamic working environment, where the person will be part of the daily excitement of delivering the world’s highest quality EMM to customers all over the world, directly from Mbombela (Nelspruit).

Minimum Requirements:

• National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in industrial supply chain environment.
• Computer Literacy.
• Office based.
• Source suitable suppliers for products; imported raw materials and services.
• Procurement for specific major capital projects.
• Evaluate suitable alternative suppliers and source alternative products in line with specification and company requirements.
• Continually obtain competitive value for contracts.
• Order placement and management.
• Adhere to administrative procedures for placing and finalizing of orders.
• Stakeholder relationship management.
