Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Banking Sector

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Officer to join our team in the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
  • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Support internal stakeholders in identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulations
  • Manage the procurement process from request for proposal to contract execution
  • Track and report key performance indicators related to procurement activities
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting for procurement activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or related field
  • Proven experience as a procurement officer or similar role in the banking sector
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, regulations and market trends
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and procurement software
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
