Overview

The successful candidate will be a confident professional with strong project management and business skills, able to engage with key stakeholders, manage contracts, and negotiate with bidders, to ensure compliance and value delivery.

Qualifications & Experience
  • BCom or Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business (essential)
  • Minimum 3 years procurement / tender management experience
  • Strong exposure to end-to-end tender processes (issuing tenders, not submissions)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full end-to-end tender management process, from issuing tenders to final evaluations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external bidders
  • Ensure that procurement strategies align with cost-saving initiatives and spend reduction goals
  • Review budgets, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders
  • Facilitate and manage tender briefings, scope of work documents, pricing templates, and timelines
  • Engage with bidders for negotiations, clarifications, and contract finalisation
  • Oversee secure tender submissions at closing stages and ensure compliance
  • Evaluate and summarise tender submissions, providing clear recommendations to stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage tender and contract performance to ensure value delivery
