As we expand our footprint in South Africa, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our vehicle procurement operations in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Strategy : Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet vehicle sourcing targets in alignment with company goals.
2. Supplier Management : Identify, onboard, and manage a diverse range of suppliers, including dealerships, fleet owners, and auctions, to secure the best quality and value.
3. Market Analysis : Monitor local and regional market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and ensure competitive pricing.
4. Negotiations : Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and build long-term partnerships.
5. Performance Tracking : Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate procurement effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement.
6. Inventory Alignment : Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure the right vehicles are sourced to match market demand.
7. Process Optimization : Implement best practices to streamline procurement processes, reduce costs, and maintain quality standards.
8. Team Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with overall business objectives.

Requirements

1. Education : Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2. Experience : At least 5 years of proven experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive industry or a related sector.
