Are you an experienced Procurement Manager with a track record in EPC contracts across utility-scale renewable energy projects such as Solar PV, Wind, or BESS?

This is your chance to step into a pivotal role where you’ll manage the end-to-end EPC procurement lifecycle — from RFP development to contract signature — for large-scale renewable assets in Southern Africa.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive the EPC procurement process from needs analysis to commercial adjudication and contractor appointment.
  • Lead internal stakeholder coordination across Engineering, Construction, Legal, Sustainability, and O&M.
  • Identify and engage suppliers, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage contractor relationships.
  • Own the RFP process, supplier evaluation criteria, tender clarification, and contract negotiations.
  • Handover all signed EPC contracts and documentation to the Construction team for seamless execution.

Key Focus Areas:

  • Strategic sourcing and contract negotiation
  • Supplier performance and risk reporting
  • Procurement documentation, controls, and database management
  • Building and maintaining a qualified supplier base
  • Managing the procurement of design and engineering consultants

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 5–10 years in procurement within power generation, preferably renewables
  • Minimum 3 years’ site-based experience in a procurement role
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of project management tools, legal frameworks, and EPC contracts

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience working on projects across the African continent
  • Familiarity with managing large project budgets and reporting to investment committees
  • The ability to lead procurement strategy while remaining detail-oriented and hands-on
