- National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Business Administration
Experience
- 5–8 years in procurement / supply chain, preferably in mining, heavy equipment, or manufacturing
- Technical familiarity with engineered components, technical drawings / BOMs
- ISO9001 QA / Inspection for outsourced products / services
- Proven team management and technical support capabilities

- Advanced MicrosoftOffice; PowerBI beneficial
- High-pressure problem-solving & critical thinking
- Leadership in team oversight, coaching & mentoring
- Technical acumen to comprehend complex systems

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for key material categories
- Coordinate and manage procurement activities executed by your team
- Identify and assess suppliers to minimise risk / cost while enhancing quality and service
- Oversee supplier audits, capability evaluations, and corrective action collaborations with Engineering
- Manage the full procurement cycle : orders, confirmations, deliveries
- Review and update procurement policies and procedures
- Report on procurement metrics : cost savings, delivery, quality
- Prepare costing & delivery schedules for tenders / quotations
- Align purchases to BOMs for optimized end-item procurement
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities via strategic sourcing, alternative materials, value engineering
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis
- Lead annual supplier price negotiations
- Coach procurement technicians to meet KPIs, fostering continuous improvement culture
- Interface with departments to interpret reports, confirm data needs, and validate outputs
- Ensure compliance with ISO policies and company procedures
- Execute ad-hoc tasks as required
