Job Responsibilities
  1. Lead the overall device procurement function for our South African operations, overseeing inventory and supplier management.
  2. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchase of sales stock.
  3. Manage and evaluate supplier relationships to maintain high-quality standards and reliable supply chains.
  4. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable outcomes.
  5. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  6. Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to forecast demand and manage stock levels effectively.
  7. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  8. Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and market conditions.
  9. Resolve issues related to supplier deliveries and product quality.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the mobile phone or electronics industry.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
