Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Master’s degree or CIMA/Accounting honours advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years experience in management accounting or controlling, ideally in procurement.
• FMCG experience preferred.
• Proficiency in COUPA and SAP; strong financial modelling & budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and cost management for procurement.
• Develop financial models to analyse costs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Review price proposals and support executive sign-off.
• Provide insights to optimize procurement strategies and costs.
• Conduct variance analysis and identify savings opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial objectives with procurement goals.
• Assess impact of supply chain costs on COGS and set targets.
• Negotiate favorable supplier contracts and terms.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
• Monitor supplier performance from a financial perspective and manage risks.
