Introduction: The Project and Procurement Engineer is responsible for reviewing and understanding project requirements and specifications to procure various components effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct fabrication work inspections.
- Provide cost estimates for project items.
- Compile and manage data books for each project.
- Place procurement orders.
- Create tracking registers and packages for each project.
- Maintain the safety file.
- Follow up with vendors on outstanding orders, invoices, and deliverables.
- Build and maintain relationships with all divisions to foster a productive working environment, meeting key deadlines.
- Coordinate with external clients to ensure end-user satisfaction within established deadlines.
- Develop and sustain long-term relationships with service providers.
Qualifications & Experience:
- National diploma in Engineering (Essential).
- Quality Control Inspector Level 1 certificate (Desirable).
- At least 2 years of project engineering experience (Essential).
- At least 2 years of estimation and procurement experience (Essential).
- 2 years of experience in quality control material inspection (Essential).
