Job summary

Neptune is seeking a procurement data analyst in Gauteng to collect and cleanse spend data across categories, and to build dashboards tracking savings and performance.

You will identify cost drivers, support category managers with market research and RFQ/RFP analysis, and monitor supplier performance while ensuring ERP master data accuracy and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, cleanse and analyse spend data across direct materials, MRO, logistics, Capex and selected indirect spend.
• Build category dashboards, savings trackers and performance reports.
• Identify cost drivers, spend leakage, consolidation opportunities and demand patterns.
• Support category managers with market research and RFQ/RFP bid analysis.
• Track supplier performance (OTIF, quality, cost, service, compliance) and flag supply risks.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly procurement reports and maintain ERP master data.
• Support audits, compliance reporting, and digitisation of reporting and analytics.

Job description

• Support Category Managers with category strategies, sourcing plans, market research and RFQ/RFP bid analysis.
• Track supplier performance (OTIF, quality, cost, service, compliance), NCRs and scorecards, and flag supply risks.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly procurement reports and keep ERP master data accurate.
• Support audits, compliance reporting, and the digitisation of reporting and analytics.
