Procurement Administrator (Logistics) required in Johannesburg.

Join a fast-growing international logistics company that is building its footprint in South Africa. Since launching locally in 2023, the company has experienced rapid expansion with strong global support and ambitious plans for continued growth.

We are looking for a Procurement Administrator with logistics experience across air, road, and ocean freight. You’ll be responsible for sourcing competitive transport rates, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring smooth handovers to operations.

This is a fast-paced, high-pressure environment that requires initiative, clear communication, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Salary: R12 000 – R15 000 per month (Negotiable, based on experience).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12, or equivalent.
  • Relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain, or procurement (advantageous).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a procurement or logistics support role.
  • Familiarity with airfreight, road freight, and ocean freight processes.
  • Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of clearing, import/export, and full shipping cycles.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Source and negotiate competitive rates for Air, Road, and Ocean Freight (imports and exports).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient quote-to-delivery workflows.
  • Handle clearing coordination and ensure accurate handovers to operations.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain service standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required by management.
