Job Title: Procurement Administrator

Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg | Deadline: August 17, 2025

We are seeking a passionate Procurement Administrator to join our NBL Head Office in Bryanston, Johannesburg. This role involves managing vendor contracts within SAP, ensuring pricing accuracy, processing contracts efficiently, and supporting procurement activities such as reporting, supplier communication, and tender assistance.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to: National Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load vendor contracts in SAP, including negotiated pricing and volumes confirmed by site buyers.
  • Ensure adherence to critical control measures and attention to detail.
  • Update source lists in SAP to ensure correct vendor and contract selection for order processing.
  • Understand and manage SAP contract management processes for quick fault identification and correction.
  • Manage contract processes in SAP to prevent delays or errors when site buyers place orders.
  • Assist site buyers with resolving and preventing pricing queries.
  • Maintain departmental filing systems, both physical and electronic.
  • Update procurement templates and databases regularly.
  • Support reporting processes, including SAP contracts and month-end reports.
  • Complete workflows such as new PC setups and vendor onboarding.
  • Liaise with sites to ensure supplier information is current (price changes, communications).
  • Process procurement requests promptly according to standards.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises as required.
  • Assist with tender compilation and administration.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support.
  • Communicate professionally with suppliers and stakeholders within AVI.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Procurement Administrator in the FMCG industry.
  • Qualifications in Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Matric / Grade 12 qualification is essential.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in setting up document standards, filing, and general administration.
  • SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of contract management is a plus.
  • Strong administrative skills.
