Job summary

Job description

The Ideal Candidate Would Be Responsible For

  • Full responsibility for all labour related issues including, ensuring that all positions are managed at all times.
  • Dealing with all disciplinary matters appropriately and according to the company’s disciplinary code.
  • Full control of production processes and responsibility for maintaining production standards in terms of quality, process flows, volumes and food hygiene.
  • Continued interaction and communication with all senior management.
  • Maintaining and implementing 20 keys principles including Health & Safety of the department.
  • Adhering to Astral’s ethics policy.

The Successful Candidate Must Meet The Following Requirements

  • A Matric Certificate / Equivalent.
  • Relevant diploma.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in a production environment.
  • Must be prepared to work shifts.
  • Good supervisory and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to work independently and cope well under pressure.
  • Manage staff professionally and lead by example.
