Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Process Simulation Engineer to drive advanced modeling initiatives in a remote-first environment. You will develop, validate, and optimize process models across chemical processes, collaborating with design and R&D teams to deliver simulation-based solutions that improve safety and profitability.

The role requires 5+ years in process simulation, expertise with Aspen Plus, HYSYS or CHEMCAD, and strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in process simulation and modeling.
• Expert proficiency with leading process simulation software packages.
• Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and transport phenomena.
• Experience with dynamic simulation and control system modeling is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, VBA) for model automation is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.

Responsibilities
