Collaborate with a global team of risk engineers, gaining exposure to a diverse range of assets, technologies, and geographies.
Influence risk management strategies across a broad portfolio of energy assets.
Gain valuable insight into corporate management systems, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct 12–14 surveys annually within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Survey energy sector assets worldwide, supporting insurance placement through detailed underwriting reports.
Provide risk improvement recommendations and implement best practices to enhance process safety performance.
Use specialist software to calculate estimated maximum loss values for major incidents.
Collaborate with client executives, brokers, and claims professionals to provide technical support for insurance placements and tenders.
Develop thought-leadership content to support clients in improving process safety management.
About You:
Extensive experience in the energy sector.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage senior management, deliver presentations, and lead survey discussions.
Highly organised, able to meet report deadlines and coordinate site visits internationally.
Advanced engineering expertise in areas such as process engineering, process safety, operations management, construction project management, asset integrity, and emergency response.
What Will Make You Stand Out?
Experience working with major operators or manufacturers.
Senior management or technical leadership experience.
Master’s degree in Engineering (or related field).
Chartered Engineer status or working towards professional accreditation (IChemE, IET, IMechE).
Fluency in additional languages.
Project management and commissioning experience.
