Process Engineer (Injection Moulding) - EE

Location: Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth

Salary Interval: Monthly

Package: Negotiable

Description: Our client in the manufacturing industry, based in Uitenhage, is seeking to employ a Process Engineer with injection moulding experience (EE). Please note this position is exclusively open to EE applicants with relevant injection moulding experience.

Requirements:

  • Matric qualification minimum.
  • Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2-4+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or automotive industry.
  • Injection moulding experience is essential.
  • Experience with Kuka Robot and Krauss Maffei machining is advantageous.
  • Own transport is essential.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Flexibility to work shifts and overtime when required.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Implementing new injection moulding processes.
  • Supporting ramp-up of new articles to meet targets.
  • Optimising performance and technical processes.
  • Improving processes, productivity, and reducing costs.
  • Acting as contact between the plant and process engineering departments.
  • Setting up processes and instructions for article hand-over.
  • Configuring robot and machine programs.
