takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is looking for a highly talented WMS Process Engineer to join our Supply Chain Team in Cape Town.

This position reports to: Senior WMS Engineer

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Managing daily administration of Oracle WMS, including user and location maintenance, providing Level 1 support to DC operations, and troubleshooting ERP integration issues.
2. Acting as the interface between DC Operations and WMS System for issue logging, resolution, reporting, and trend analysis with the WMS Vendor.
3. Participating in the design, configuration, and implementation of new WMS processes and re-engineering existing ones.
4. Testing, rolling out new functionalities, and managing quarterly upgrades of Oracle WMS.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in DC operations
• Experience administering WMS Systems
• Knowledge of WMS systems such as Oracle, Manhattan, Red Prairie, SAP, Highjump, or similar
• Preferred degree in Industrial Engineering, B.Comm Logistics, or related fields
• Proficiency in MS Office
• ERP/WMS System knowledge
• Supply Chain and DC operational process understanding
