Job description

RCL Foods is currently looking for a Process Engineer to join our Groceries & Spreads Business Unit . The role is based in Boksburg and will report to the Process and Project Engineering Manager .

The role of the Process Engineer is critical in achieving the targets of the Manufacturing function as well as supporting the Business Strategy.

The purpose of the Process Engineer role is to :

• Provide technical support to factory operations by leading, coaching and supporting the problem solving of process deviations that may occur.
• Identify optimisation opportunities that reduce manufacturing costs, increases production efficiency and provides quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the R&D department to successfully deliver innovation and renovation projects.
• Contribute towards the development of the site’s CAPEX agenda.
• Deliver on the CAPEX agenda by executing projects within an agreed time, scope and budget.
