Job description

Purpose of the job

• Compile basic and detailed engineering packages to support prospect and project development and execution. Provide onsite technical support to aid sales and prospect development. Support water & waste water treatment plants operated by AECI Water.
• Ensure personal safety compliance, manage safety risks, and promote the company's safety culture by implementing Zero Harm initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure proposed solutions are aligned with SHERQ requirements.
• Support prospects and projects through process designs, including basic and detailed design packages.
• Support AECI Water and effluent minimisation across various active production sites.
• Promote and support sales of products and technology to increase AECI Water’s market share and value in targeted markets.
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers regarding suitable process selections to meet prospect, tender, or customer requirements.
• Conduct site surveys and field trials on new technology with relevant sales teams.
• Work independently or in multidisciplinary teams on strategic projects as defined by the Head of Department or Technology Executive.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery of proposals, tenders, and contracts.
• Contribute to proposal development for prospects and tenders.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by the line manager as required.
