Our client, a leader in the Mobility Solutions industry, is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their team in Jet Park, East Rand, Johannesburg.

A wonderful career opportunity awaits for an experienced Process Engineer. The successful candidates will be responsible for analysing, designing, and improving manufacturing and operational processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across the production environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ proven experience in a process or manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector advantageous.
Responsibilities
  • Evaluating and improving production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Developing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes from inception through start-up and certification.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Production, Sales, Maintenance, and Supply Chain.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Preparing process documentation, reports, and work instructions.
  • Assisting in the implementation of new machinery, technologies, and automation projects.
