You will design, conduct, and analyze experiments to optimize reaction conditions, separation techniques, and overall process efficiency, collaborating with R&D and production engineers. A strong fundamentals in chemical engineering and hands-on scale-up experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.
• 4-6 years of experience in process development, scale-up, or optimization within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency with process simulation software such as Aspen Plus and ChemCAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes for new and existing products with focus on yield, purity, cost and safety.
• Design and run pilot plant trials to validate designs and collect scale-up data.
• Analyze process data using statistical tools and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with R&D chemists and production engineers to enable smooth technology transfer.
• Troubleshoot process issues during development and initial production.
• Prepare technical documentation including process descriptions, P&IDs, and operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
