• PC level 3 with 10 years’ experience or PC level 4 with 3 years’ experience at a Class C works or higher treatment plant.

• Manage and operate treatment plants effectively and sustainably.
• Read operational manuals for effective management.

Skills

Strong working knowledge of treatment technologies

Computer literacy in MS Office applications

Education

Requirements for the position:

• Grade 12 plus maths and physical science.
• NQF 3 or NQF 4 Operator Certificate in Water and Waste Treatment.
• PC level 3 with 10 years’ experience or PC level 4 with 3 years’ experience at a class C works or higher treatment plant.
• Registered at least as a Class 3 or 4 Process Controller with the Department of Water & Sanitation.
• The incumbent must have a strong working knowledge of treatment technologies.
• Ability to read operational manuals and other resources to apply knowledge for the effective, efficient, and sustainable management and operation of treatment plants.
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications.
• Valid driver's license.
