About the Role:
We are looking for a Proactive Services Engineer to join a growing IT operations team. This role is vital in maintaining the performance, security, and stability of client IT environments. You will proactively monitor alerts, perform patch management, ensure data backups are running smoothly, and implement automation to drive efficiency.
This is a great opportunity for an IT support professional with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to system health and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and triage system alerts to resolve issues before they impact business operations.
  • Deploy and manage Windows and third-party application patches across servers, desktops, firewalls, and access points.
  • Manage and maintain patching using tools like ManageEngine.
  • Monitor and maintain Datto and Veeam backup solutions.
  • Perform regular backup validations and restore tests.
  • Support onboarding of services like Remote Monitoring, Patch Management, Datto SaaS, and BCDR.
  • Apply and manage SSL certificates.
  • Create scripts and automation tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Required:
  • 1+ year of experience in an IT support role.
  • Familiarity with RMM platforms and alert management.
  • Understanding of Windows Server and Workstation environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to processes.
Desirable:
  • Experience with patch management tools (especially ManageEngine).
  • Hands-on experience with Datto and Veeam backup solutions.
  • Understanding of network patching and firewall firmware updates.
  • Scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell) for automation.
