Job Description

To deliver exceptional experience and education to Private Wealth clients on basic wealth creation, accumulation, and overall protection tactics to increase vertical sales index (VSI) and drive client retention and entrenchment through using contextual Money Management principles.

Role Purpose:

To deliver exceptional experience and education to Private Wealth clients on basic wealth creation, accumulation, and overall protection tactics to increase vertical sales index (VSI) and drive client retention and entrenchment through using contextual Money Management principles.

Are you someone who can:

  • Achieve revenue and profit targets by growing portfolio base, providing independent holistic advice and solutions that ensure revenue and profit growth.
  • Identify and utilize opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets.
  • Provide appropriate banking and financial solutions across an allocated portfolio of clients.
  • Identify local and offshore fiduciary opportunities and advise on client philanthropy.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements and adhere to relevant processes.
  • Build working relationships across teams and functions to enhance work delivery, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Develop, encourage, and nurture collaborative relationships within FNB and/or across the First Rand Group (FRG).
  • Conduct client reviews within the context of client engagements and market all financial services solutions within the relevant business offering.
  • Participate in planned activities for personal development.
  • Deliver customer experience excellence in service delivery aligned with organizational values and standards.
  • Provide internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality standards.
  • Identify process improvements to reduce wastage and costs.

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

  • Hold a relevant NQF7 Level Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
  • Have completed RE5 qualification.
  • Possess a preferred qualification - Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
  • Have 3 to 5 years’ experience in banking, investment, financial planning, wealth management, and client-facing environments.
  • Have a full understanding of money management principles.
  • Sign-off on the following sub-categories:
  • 1.3 Long-Term Insurance subcategory B1
  • 1.4 Long-Term Insurance subcategory C
  • 1.5 Retail Pension Benefits
  • 1.14 Participatory Interests in a Collective Investment Scheme
  • 1.17 Long-term Deposits
  • 1.18 Short-term Deposits
  • 1.22 Long-term Insurance subcategory B1-A

You will have access to:

  • Knowledge of business-related systems.
  • Knowledge of banking and financial services regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of wealth management creation and accumulation.
  • Knowledge of wealth protection or risk management.
