• Minimum 2–3 years of professional cheffing experience.

• Prepare breakfast, lunchboxes, snacks & dinners.
• Source and purchase fresh ingredients from local suppliers.
• Cook meals at designated times with high quality and presentation.
• Keep kitchen and equipment clean, sanitized and in good order.
• Follow food safety, health and hygiene regulations and store waste properly.
• Organize meals for household events and gatherings.
• Manage kitchen inventory, monitor stock levels and budget for groceries.
• Accommodate special diets, provide cooking lessons and travel with employer when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy.

• Prepare breakfast, lunchboxes, snacks & dinners
• Source and purchase fresh, high-quality ingredients from local farmers, butchers and markets.
• Cook meals at designated times, ensuring high standards of quality, taste and presentation.
• Keep the kitchen and equipment clean, sanitized and in good working order.
• Adhere to all food safety, health, and hygiene regulations and implement proper food storage and waste management practices.
• Organize and prepare meals for household events, such as dinner parties or other gatherings.
• Manage kitchen inventory, monitor stock levels and oversee the budget for groceries and supplies.
• Accommodate special diets, provide cooking lessons and be prepared to travel with the employer when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of the clients and their household.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• A formal culinary qualification
• At least 2 3 years professional cheffing experience, preparing high-end cuisine
• Private cheffing experience essential
• Experience in African cuisine will be an advantage
• A strong foundation in various cooking methods and techniques.
• A valid drivers license and own transport will be an advantage
• Proven experience in a professional kitchen, such as a restaurant, hotel, or catering setting
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and strong time management skills
