Job description

Why Stifel

Stifel strives for a culture that puts its clients and associates first: a culture where everyone belongs, everyone is welcome, and everyone contributes to the success of our clients, their careers, and the firm as a whole.

Let’s talk about how you can find your place here at Stifel, where success meets success.

What You'll Be Doing

Eaton’s PCA platform is a leading advisor to private market investors seeking to raise capital through secondary transactions (GP-led and LP-led), direct equity and co-investment opportunities, and GP-stakes. The team advises on a wide range of transaction structures including continuation vehicles, strip-sales, tender offers, annex funds, and others. PCA partners and collaborates with both the Eaton primary fundraising professionals and the Stifel industry and financial sponsors’ coverage teams to deliver superior outcomes for our clients.

Associates are primarily responsible for acting as the keystone of all transaction teams, serving as project managers while guiding senior bankers and mentoring Analysts. Associates work on small, client-focused teams within a fast-paced environment. We offer a unique environment that combines a highly entrepreneurial platform focused on the growing private market space with significant analytical rigor.

What We're Looking For

The primary role of the Associate includes:

  • Managing multiple projects and transactions simultaneously.
  • Working closely with senior bankers and playing a critical role as a project manager on most opportunities.
  • Managing the deal process from origination to execution.
  • Assisting in preparing responses to investor due diligence requests.
  • Conducting industry research and building industry databases.
  • Performing in-depth quantitative financial analyses and modeling for clients and portfolios.
  • Supporting senior bankers with marketing materials and pitch books.
  • Contributing to team meetings and discussions.
  • Building reports and logging information in Salesforce.
  • Helping clients achieve their financial and strategic objectives.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field required.
  • 3-5 years of investment banking or private markets experience as a financial analyst and associate, or similar experience in a legal firm.
Compensation Range

Salary: USD $160,000 - $200,000 per year. Actual salaries may vary based on qualifications, skills, and overall competencies. The base salary is part of Stifel’s overall compensation package, which includes discretionary bonuses, health/dental/vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, tuition & certification assistance, paid time off, and more. For a comprehensive list of benefits, visit Stifel Benefits. Applications are accepted until the position is filled.
