Job summary

Wesbank is seeking a Lending Analyst to support the private banking team's lending operations for ultra-high-net-worth clients. The role involves reviewing secured lending documents, collecting client financials, preparing credit materials, and maintaining clear client communication.

You will assist in portfolio monitoring, loan reviews, and coordinating with the relationship team to understand client needs.

Qualifications

• FSCA recognised qualification.
• Minimum NQF Level 7 Degree.
• RE5 certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify secured lending application documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Collect and organize required financial documents from clients including tax returns, financial statements, and asset verification.
• Assist in preparation of credit applications with the Lending Specialists.
• Track application status and maintain regular communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor loan covenants, payment schedules and assist in portfolio reviews and renewals.
